Universal Banker/Financial Literacy Specialist

Role Description

Universal Banker

  • Handle all members problems and complaints with professional and courtesty
  • Lisen, identify, and recommend WDFCU products and services to help meet members' needs.
  • Taking in and dispensing of money for deposits and withdrawal.
  • Cross-Selling Products.
  • Processing loan payments
  • Taking inventory of cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Balance no less than 98% each month
  • Assisting with the opening of new accounts (checking, saving and CD's)

Financial Specialist

  • Use WDFCU Finance Assessment tools to provide a snapshot of where each member is along the financial path and obtain their financial goals.
  • Induvial coaching, scheduling and delivering financial education and behavior change.
  • Group training, survey members interest and provide financial education in group sessions.
  • Outcome and controls, Use WDFCU tools to measure outcomes and progress for individual coaching sessions and group training activities.
  • Community outreach, meet with organizations, business partners and churches to inform the WDFCU features and benefits with a goal of growing membership.
  • Networking and relationship building, build relationships with organizations that provide finance literacy products and/or services that will benefit membership.

Qualifications Minimum requirements for this position include:

  • Preferred 2 years of public-facing banking experience.
  • Preferred 2 or mor years of full-time work experience in personal finance, education, social services, community organizing or a related field (Training available)
  • Ability to develop long-term plans and programs to evaluate member financial needs.
  • Ability to present fact and recommendation effectively in oral and written form.
  • Computer knowledge: able to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evening and weekends,

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
