Summary

As a Universal Worker at Birkwood Village, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily needs. This position involves providing direct care, assistance with daily activities, and fostering a compassionate environment that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance to residents with daily living activities.
• Monitor patients' health and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

• Experience in memory care or similar healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Ability to monitor patient conditions effectively and communicate observations clearly.
• Basic cooking skills and experience in meal preparation are beneficial.
