Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a passion for helping clients understand their insurance needs. The Insurance Specialist will also engage in outside sales activities, contributing to the growth of our business.

Must be willing to obtain all appropriate licensure upon starting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain client insurance accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct outside sales activities to promote insurance products and services to potential clients.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and secure favorable terms for clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits programs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance product visibility and client engagement.
  • Conduct telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and promote insurance offerings.
  • Leverage multilingual capabilities to assist diverse clientele effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong background in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective client interaction.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales outcomes.
  • Proficient analytical skills for assessing client needs and market trends.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration processes and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
