Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused environment with a dedicated team of dental professionals.

Duties

  • Perform routine and complex dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments using advanced dental techniques and equipment.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and cosmetic dentistry.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix for patient record management and treatment documentation.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure compliance with all health regulations.
  • Use CAD technology for designing restorations such as crowns or bridges when applicable.
  • Provide specialized care for pediatric patients when necessary, demonstrating patience and effective communication skills.

Experience

  • Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry; experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using dental office management software including Dentrix and Epic.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems used in restorative procedures.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental health.
  • Previous experience working in a busy dental office environment preferred but not required. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health while working within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in dental care.

Certification

  • Graduate from an accredited dental school
  • DDS or DMD from a dental college accredited by CODA (or meet Ohio’s equivalency standards if foreign-trained).
  • Pass the national written dental boards
  • Historically NBDE Parts I & II; now the INBDE is accepted as the integrated replacement.
  • Pass an approved clinical (regional) examination OR an approved CODA-accredited residency
  • Pass the Ohio jurisprudence examination
  • Submit the formal application for licensure to the Ohio State Dental Board
  • Pay all required licensure fees
  • As set out in ORC 4715.13 and on the Board’s fee schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,500.00 per day
