UPK Childcare Teacher

Hiring immediately: an energetic team member to be part of our daycare classroom (3 to 5-year-olds). The lead Teacher will facilitate our curriculum through daily lessons and educational activities.

Qualifications:

The Lead Pre-School teacher must have:

1. A high school diploma or general education diploma.

2. Certification to teach the early childhood grades with one of the following (N-6 certification, Birth-Gr 2, Pre-k-6, or Special Education Birth-6).

3. Experience working in childcare, with children, and/or teaching.

4. Ability to pass the background check.

Curriculum Expectations:

Create and Implement age-appropriate and individualized curriculum involving various activities to stimulate and encourage children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical skills, abilities, and development.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Be willing to attend continued to ensure the learning experience of children.

2. Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and standards.

3. Create and Implement age-appropriate curriculums and maintain a fun and interactive learning experience.

4. Complete daily paperwork for children while following New York State OCFS regulations.

5. Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with parents.

Hours:

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
