UPS Store Digital Print Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, social customer-focused Digital Print Specialist Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will create a positive printing experience by assisting customers, providing print product recommendations, and helping drive store print sales. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail print environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for following through on all customer graphics orders and will help with volume copying. In addition to effective conceptualization abilities, strong design skills, and technical expertise, the Graphic Designer must be highly collaborative by nature and must have demonstrated strengths in graphics design, project management, and communication.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of visual communication, graphic design, or a related field; at least one year of experience in graphic design or in the print industry, and is skilled in copy-editing/proof-reading and desktop publishing. He or she must have full mastery of various software design programs including Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for both Mac and PC.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting through cold calling and qualifying to develop new B2B accounts
• Following up on in-store leads
• Handling customer service issues
• Using PC software to maintain customer databases
• Creating estimates and recording and tracking sales activity
• Developing and penetrating accounts through relationship building
• Implementing consultative and solution selling strategies
• Timely reporting of activities and results

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Ability to meet sales quota requirements
• Prior outside sales experience
• Professional decorum, reliability, perseverance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, Must be social and outgoing.
• Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for both Mac and PC.
• Computer skills, attention to detail, problem solving abilities
• Previous experience in printing industry a plus OR at least 1 years of experience with previous outside sales and in-store sales experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.Preferred
• Previous retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.13 - $18.50 per hour
