Upscale Restaurant Host

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations effectively.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Address guest concerns promptly to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

Experience

• Previous Host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations and customer service
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective guest interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
