You will own our Upwork pipeline end to end: finding the jobs worth pursuing, writing proposals that actually get replies, and moving qualified leads into client conversations. This is not a copy-paste-templates role. We expect sharp targeting, clean writing, and someone who understands enough about software services to scope a project before our technical team gets involved.
What You'll Do
- Identify and shortlist relevant jobs on Upwork that match our service lines (custom software, AI/ML, Python, React, Node.js, SQL Server, .NET, Flutter, n8n automation).
- Write tailored, persuasive proposals that address the client's actual problem, not generic pitches.
- Manage our Upwork agency profile, bidding strategy, and Connects budget.
- Coordinate with the technical team to scope projects accurately before submission.
- Handle initial client communication through the proposal and interview stages.
- Track and report bidding metrics: proposals sent, response rate, interviews secured, and conversions.
- Continuously refine targeting and messaging based on what wins.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience bidding on Upwork with a track record of won contracts (please share numbers).
- Excellent written English. Your proposals are the product.
- Solid understanding of software development and IT services so you can speak credibly to clients.
- Familiarity with Upwork's bidding mechanics, Connects, and profile optimization.
- Strong research skills and the discipline to bid selectively rather than spray and pray.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable owning a target.
Nice to Have
- Experience bidding on other platforms (Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn outbound).
- Background in a software house or agency environment.
Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per hour
