We are looking for a motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Upwork platform, including project hunting, proposal writing, client communication, and closing deals.
You will be responsible for identifying quality projects, submitting customized proposals, communicating with clients, and helping grow the company through successful project acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
-Upwork Bidding & Lead Generation
- Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Analyze client requirements and submit tailored proposals.
- Send high-converting cover letters and maintain a strong bidding strategy.
- Generate quality leads and secure projects within targeted industries.
- Respond to client messages professionally and promptly.
- Schedule meetings/interviews with potential clients.
-Proposal Writing
- Create persuasive and personalized proposals based on project requirements.
- Highlight company strengths, technical expertise, and value proposition.
- Maintain proposal quality to improve conversion rates.
-Market Research & Strategy
- Stay updated with Upwork trends, client behavior, and competitor activities.
- Improve bidding strategies based on market demand and performance analytics.
- Suggest profile optimization techniques to increase visibility and success rate.
-Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand technical requirements.
- Maintain records of submitted proposals, responses, and conversions.
- Share regular reports on bid performance and project acquisition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Business Developer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Upwork bidding, proposal writing, and client handling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and projects simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- A portfolio or examples of successful Upwork projects will be a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of freelancing platforms and LinkedIn outreach techniques.
- Familiarity with web/mobile technologies and software services.
- Experience with CRM tools and lead management will be a plus.
- Basic understanding of project management workflows.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary + commission structure.
- Commission ranging from 3% to 6% per successfully secured project.

Probation Period
- Duration: 15 Days
- Candidate must secure 1–2 projects with a minimum value of $300 each during probation.
