About the Role

DevScape Digital is seeking a motivated and results-driven Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our team at our DHA Gujranwala office.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Upwork bidding and generating leads for digital services such as web development, mobile app development, UI/UX design, and related IT services.

This role requires strong communication skills, strategic bidding expertise, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities Upwork Bidding & Lead Generation

  • Identify relevant projects on Upwork aligned with company services
  • Write customized and professional proposals
  • Submit strategic bids to improve response rates
  • Maintain consistent daily bidding activity

Client Communication

  • Communicate professionally with potential clients
  • Understand project requirements clearly
  • Coordinate meetings with technical teams
  • Follow up regularly with prospects

Project Conversion

  • Negotiate scope, timelines, and pricing
  • Convert leads into confirmed projects
  • Ensure smooth project handover to internal teams

Profile & Market Management

  • Optimize and maintain the company’s Upwork profile
  • Monitor response time and communication quality
  • Conduct competitor analysis and suggest improvements
  • Identify new niches and growth opportunities

Required QualificationsExperience

  • 1–2 years of experience in Upwork bidding or freelance platforms
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing projects

Technical Understanding (Non-Development Role)

Basic understanding of:

  • Web development
  • Mobile app development
  • UI/UX design
  • WordPress / Shopify / custom development
  • E-commerce solutions

Skills

  • Excellent written & Spoken English
  • Strong proposal writing skills
  • Negotiation and persuasion abilities

Working Hours
