Upwork Bidder / Business Development Officer (BDO)

We are hiring a skilled and motivated Upwork Bidder / Business Development Officer with 1–2 years of experience in generating leads and acquiring projects through online platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of proposal writing, client communication, and digital marketing or IT-related services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and bid on relevant projects across Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
• Write effective and customized proposals that align with client requirements.
• Communicate with international clients to understand their project needs and close deals.
• Coordinate with the technical and design teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Maintain records of bids, leads, and conversions using CRM or internal tracking tools.
• Develop new strategies to increase project acquisition and strengthen client relationships.
• Stay updated with industry trends, pricing models, and competitors’ strategies.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder or Business Development Officer in a digital marketing, IT, or software company.
• Strong understanding of Upwork and freelancing platforms’ algorithms and bidding strategies.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to draft engaging proposals and client messages.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, web development, or design services is a plus.
• Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
