Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive who can identify high-quality opportunities, write winning proposals, communicate effectively with prospects, and help grow our client base.
The ideal candidate understands AI automation services, AI MVP development, SaaS products, web applications, and custom software development, and can translate technical capabilities into compelling business proposals.
Key ResponsibilitiesProposal Writing & Bidding
- Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Write personalized, high-converting proposals for:
- AI Automation Solutions
- AI Agents & Chatbots
- AI MVP Development
- SaaS Platforms
- Custom Software Products
- Web & Mobile Applications
- Workflow Automation Solutions
- Analyze client requirements and create tailored responses.
- Maintain high proposal quality with strong value propositions.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Generate qualified leads through Upwork and other channels.
- Engage with potential clients and schedule discovery calls.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Follow up with prospects consistently.
Client Communication
- Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Understand client business needs and communicate them internally.
- Participate in requirement gathering and project discussions.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Market Research
- Monitor industry trends in AI, SaaS, automation, and software development.
- Analyze competitor offerings and pricing strategies.
- Identify new opportunities and target markets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience bidding on Upwork.
- Strong proposal writing and business communication skills.

- 1+ years of Upwork bidding or business development experience.
- Track record of winning projects worth $5,000+.
- Experience working with software houses, AI agencies, or SaaS companies.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs, AI automation platforms, and no-code/low-code tools.
