Urdu Teacher - Elementary School

About the Role

EMS High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Urdu Teacher for the Elementary School section. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong Urdu language skills while fostering a love for literature, reading, writing, and effective communication in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Urdu lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
  • Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
  • Create an interactive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Integrate creative teaching strategies and technology into classroom instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and school activities.
  • Promote positive values, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

Requirements

  • Strong command of spoken and written Urdu.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate elementary-aged learners.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and student-centered learning.
  • Proficiency in basic educational technology and digital learning tools.
  • A collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urdu, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the Elementary School level.
  • B.Ed./M.Ed. will be considered an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
