Urgent Care Physician

Momentum HCS is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity in Chattanooga. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who are passionate about patient care and enjoy practicing medicine without administrative burdens, while maintaining strong work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting and performing in-office procedures as needed.

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Employment Type: Permenant

Compensation: $220,000–$230,000 per year

Position Highlights

Flexible scheduling with 3–4 day work week options

Block shifts available

Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday) | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekends)

No on-call requirements

No night shifts

Supportive clinical staff and streamlined operations

On-site CLIA-approved lab and full-body digital x-ray

Opportunity to focus on patient care without administrative burden

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients requiring immediate care in an efficient and effective manner

Assess and treat pediatric patients as young as 6 months old

Perform procedures requiring local anesthesia

Conduct annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals

Administer vaccinations and interpret diagnostic services including labs and x-rays

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in EMR

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited institution

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine

Active Tennessee medical license

Active DEA certification

Current ACLS certification

Registered with CAQH

DOT Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Comfortable treating pediatric through geriatric populations
