Urgent Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to provide ongoing full-time locum coverage at a large group of clinics across Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in both urgent care and occupational health, be local to VA, and available to work a minimum of 36 hours/week.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP ongoing as needed

• Schedule: Minimum 3 x 12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekends

• Setting: UC + Occupational Health clinic

• EMR: Anthem

• Supervision: Works autonomously with MD backup by phone

• Patient Volume: Episodic visits, injury care, all age groups

Compensation

• $80 - $90/hour

• Mileage reimbursement for local candidates only

• Malpractice provided

Requirements

• Board Certified (NCCPA)

• Active Virginia license

• BLS certification

• DEA preferred but not required

• Must be local (no flights, no lodging provided)

• Able to commit to minimum 36 hours/week with rotating weekends
