Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; ability to perform simple calculations accurately
• Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
