Urgent Hiring Laboratory Assistant (Allied)

Title: Laboratory Assistant
Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday with weekend rotations)
Hours Per Week: 40
Rotating Weekends: Yes

Our laboratories are vital to that mission, providing high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care across our network of hospitals and health centers.

Job Purpose: Performs routine laboratory work, with supervision, for which there are well established procedures and minimal steps. This work contributes to the efficient operation of the laboratory.

Duties and responsibilities include:
Qualifications: Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Additional preferences: 1. previous science course education 2. fluency in the English language 3. basic computer skills; Meditech experience preferred 4. phlebotomy training and experience.
To perform a narrow range of laboratory procedures and related duties, with supervision, following established standards and practices; to promote the efficient operation of the laboratory and patient care.
To ensure an effective laboratory customer interface for providers, patients, visitors and other Alliance staff.

Submission Requirements:
Up to date resume that includes strictly 2+ years lab assistant experience
2 recent Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty
Skills Checklist matching specialty
Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
Current AHA BLS required
RTO must be included at time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
EMR Exp Preferred: EPICOnly accepting local candidates within in 50miles.

Pay: $1,360.00 per week
