Urgent opening for HR Executive

Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS) established at RBG labs, IIT Madras acts as think tank and funded by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI. In addition, the centre advises and guides various stakeholders like State Governments and industry bodies in different aspects of road safety. The centre with multidisciplinary prospects works with principle of Integrated Systems approach on 4Es (Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency & Education) to enhance Road Safety across the nation and globe in pledge to save lives

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in end-to-end recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers)
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires
• Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records
• Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries
• Support conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives
• Ensure a healthy and compliant workplace culture
• Assist in appraisal cycles and performance reviews
• Track KPIs, feedback, and performance documentation

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of HR processes
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR role
