Department: Nursing Services
Reports To: Nursing Superintendent / Nursing Matron / Hospital Administrator
Job Summary: Responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, and ensuring smooth functioning of the assigned ward/unit.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and guide staff nurses and nursing assistants.
· Ensure safe and quality patient care.
· Prepare and manage duty roster.
· Maintain ward discipline, cleanliness, and infection control.
· Ensure proper documentation and nursing records.
· Coordinate with doctors and other departments.
· Ensure availability of medicines and consumables.
· Handle emergencies and critical situations.
· Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital policies.
· Report incidents and participate in quality improvement.
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid nursing registration.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Accountability: Responsible for patient care quality, ward management, and staff supervision.
