Urgent: Tutor Needed - 10th Grade Algebra II and Chemistry

Overview

Club Z! West Orange is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Algebra II and Chemistry Tutor for a 10th grade high school student. The client requires two 1-hour sessions or one 2-hour session per week in-person at the Maplewood Memorial Library.

Schedule Options:

• Mondays 3pm- 5pm or
• Wednesdays 3pm - 5pm or
• Mondays and Wednesdays from 3pm - 4pm.

This is a part-time, independent contractor position. The pay rate is $25 per hour.

Associates degree or 2+ years of college preferred. Candidates must have reliable transportation OR easy, reliable access to the tutoring location within 20 minutes or less of zip code 07040.

Duties

• Deliver effective tutoring sessions focused on Algebra II and Chemistry.
• Ensure comprehension and retention of material.
• Provide clear explanations of complex concepts, ensuring students grasp of the content.
