URGENTLY HIRING Lead Toddler Teacher

TLC Academy for Young Children is seeking a full time Lead Toddler Teacher.

The lead teacher will work year round, Monday- Friday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

TLC Academy is a family owned small business with a “Reggio Emilia-Inspired” early childhood learning environment. Our commitment to low-ratios and small group sizes allows us to put these practices into action. We believe that children are born with a sense of wonder and it is our job as teachers to facilitate and cultivate their natural instinct to learn.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Prior child care experience
• Understands what is age appropriate as far as goals, classroom dynamics and communication
• Ability to problem solve, effectively plan, organize and execute educational activities
• Passionate about working with infants
• Calm and patient nature with a desire to learn and grow; must be flexible and able to handle change
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
• Enjoys working in a team environment, and is willing to go above and beyond what is required and assist others whenever possible
• Good communication skills both verbally and written- must be comfortable with daily communication to parents
• High School diploma/GED is required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Must pass a criminal background check
