Urgently Hiring OTR CDL A Driver

Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDL A Driver to join our dynamic team. As an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across long distances, delivering freight efficiently and on time. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
• Transport various types of freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, following proper safety procedures
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details in accordance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during transit
• Adhere to all safety protocols related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance to prevent accidents or damage

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience operating tractor-trailers in an OTR capacity
• Proven experience with manual transmission trucks and driving freight vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling best practices
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment including forklifts when necessary for cargo handling
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as required
• Prior experience with delivery driver roles involving freight transportation over long distances is highly preferred
