Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Urologist during OPD consultations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Prepare patients for urology procedures and explain basic pre-procedure instructions
  • Assist in urology OT procedures such as cystoscopy, TURP, URSL, PCNL, etc.
  • Handle, clean, sterilize, and maintain urology instruments and endoscopic equipment
  • Operate and assist with urology equipment (endoscopy systems, laser machines, monitors)
  • Assist in catheterization, stent placement/removal, and bladder wash procedures
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain procedure records, OT notes, and patient documentation
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and NABH protocols
  • Coordinate with OT staff, nurses, anesthetists, and biomedical team
  • Ensure proper storage and availability of urology consumables and disposables
  • Assist in post-operative patient care and provide basic patient education
  • Report equipment malfunction or clinical issues to the concerned authority
