Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced US IT Recruiter (Technical Recruiter – US Staffing) with strong expertise in full-cycle technical recruitment for the US market.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with W2, C2C, 1099, and Full-Time employment models, a solid understanding of US visa classifications and compliance requirements, and strong sourcing expertise using platforms such as Dice and LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator, including advanced Boolean search techniques.

This role requires someone who understands the urgency, compliance standards, vendor structures, and competitiveness of the US staffing industry.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2–4+ years of proven experience in IT resource placements for US and/or Canada
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on US IT full-cycle recruitment experience (Required)
  • Must have experience hiring IT positions for US or Canada clients
  • Experience working with direct clients, implementation partners, and vendor layers

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end US IT recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to onboarding)
  • Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms
  • Source candidates via Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator, Monster, CareerBuilder, networking, referrals, and other platforms
  • Build and execute advanced Boolean search strings
  • Screen candidates for technical expertise, visa status and work authorization, relocation flexibility, and rate expectations
  • Work across contract types: W2, C2C (Corp-to-Corp), 1099, and Full-Time placements
  • Negotiate pay rates, bill rates, and contract terms
  • Coordinate interviews and manage follow-ups with clients and candidates
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines and update ATS regularly
  • Ensure compliance with US employment regulations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruiting agencies
  • Achieve strong and consistent position closing rates

US Visa & Work Authorization Expertise (Mandatory)

Strong working knowledge of:

  • H1B
  • H4 EAD
  • OPT / CPT
  • Green Card (GC)
  • US Citizen
  • TN Visa
  • E3 Visa

Must be able to verify:

  • Visa validity
  • Sponsorship requirements
  • H1B transfer process timelines
  • Work authorization compliance

Contract & Employment Model Expertise

Hands-on experience working with:

  • W2
  • C2C (Corp-to-Corp)
  • 1099
  • Full-Time (Permanent Placement)

Strong understanding of:

  • Bill rates vs. pay rates
  • Vendor layers
  • Implementation partners
  • MSP / VMS models

Sourcing & Tools Expertise

ATS Experience (any of the following):

  • Bullhorn

  • Ceipal

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Technical Domain Hiring Experience

Must have experience recruiting for roles such as:

  • Java Developers / .NET Developers
  • DevOps Engineers
  • Cloud Engineers (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Data Engineers / Data Scientists
  • Business Analysts
  • SAP / Oracle Consultants
  • QA Automation Engineers
  • Full Stack Developers

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to assess candidates’ technical skills effectively
  • Strong understanding of US IT terminology and technologies
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
  • Experience managing multiple requirements simultaneously

  • Fluency in English (Required)

Work Requirements

  • Onsite role – DHA Phase 8, Lahore
  • Candidate must reliably commute or plan to relocate before joining (Required)
