About the Role
We are seeking a U.S.-based Product & Technical Manager to help bridge real-world market insights with product development for the North American automotive aftermarket.
This role focuses on connecting the U.S. enthusiast and motorsports community with our engineering and product teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of performance vehicles and is actively engaged in the automotive aftermarket, motorsports, or enthusiast community.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Engagement & Brand Representation
● Represent the company at automotive events, motorsports activities, and industry trade shows (e.g., SEMA, drifting events, off-road competitions)
● Lead technical product demonstrations and provide on-site technical support at events
● Engage with tuning shops, motorsport teams, and industry professionals to gather product feedback and technical insights
Technical Collaboration & Content Support
● Work with automotive content creators and media to support technical collaboration such as product reviews, installation guides, and performance demonstrations
● Provide technical expertise to ensure accurate communication of product capabilities and applications
Market Insights & Product Strategy
● Gather market insights from enthusiast communities, industry forums, and motorsports activities
● Provide structured market feedback to support product roadmap planning and new product development
● Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the U.S. performance and off-road markets
Product Development Support
● Assist in preparing product requirement documentation and technical feedback for new product concepts
● Coordinate product testing and validation activities in the U.S. market
● Work closely with engineering teams to ensure products align with real-world customer needs
Qualifications
Required
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
● 5+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
● Strong understanding of vehicle powertrain and suspension systems
● Experience with performance upgrades, motorsports parts, or off-road components
● Familiarity with the U.S. automotive enthusiast community
Preferred
● Hands-on experience with vehicle modification, racing, or off-road activities
● Experience working for an automotive aftermarket brand
● Familiarity with automotive content platforms (YouTube, automotive media, enthusiast forums)
