US Trucking Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced US Trucking Operations Manager to manage and support daily trucking operations for our US-based logistics business. This position is based in our Karachi office and operates in alignment with US time zones.

The role involves overseeing dispatch operations, coordinating drivers and loads, ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance, managing safety and regulatory documentation, coordinating with repair shops and mechanics, and maintaining smooth operational performance for US trucking activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in trucking operations, dispatch coordination, and logistics management, with the ability to work night shifts aligned with US business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily trucking and dispatch operations for the US fleet
• Supervise dispatch workflow and driver coordination
• Plan and optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance (HOS, ELD, safety regulations)
• Manage safety, regulatory, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with repair shops and mechanics for maintenance and breakdowns
• Monitor fleet KPIs and operational performance
• Coordinate with US customers, brokers, and carriers
• Handle delays, issues, and real-time operational problems
• Use TMS, GPS tracking, and logistics systems
• Support scheduling, load planning, and driver management

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in trucking, logistics, or dispatch operations
• Strong knowledge of US trucking operations and DOT/FMCSA rules
• Experience with TMS and dispatch systems
• Ability to work night shift (6 PM – 4 AM PST)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced office-based operations

Preferred Skills

• Experience in US trucking or freight dispatch
• Strong KPI and performance management background
• Knowledge of long-haul or heavy-duty trucking operations
• Leadership experience in dispatch or logistics teams
