US Virgin Islands Telehealth Assessment Providers (NP, APNP) MUST BE LICENSED IN VI

Are you a compassionate and reliable healthcare professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while working remotely? We are seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP/APNP) with an active U.S. Virgin Islands license to perform remote health assessments for U.S. military service members.

This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose your own working hours while helping support the health, safety, and readiness of those who serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth medical evaluations, including Periodic Health Assessments (PHA) and Post-Deployment Health Reassessments (PDHRA).
• Review patient medical history and assess overall health and deployment readiness.
• Refer cases to physicians or Military Treatment Facilities when additional evaluation or care is necessary.
• Educate patients and communicate medical findings clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and concise documentation of all assessments and medical findings.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and SC PHA guidelines, and participate in routine provider quality audits.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP/APNP or PA license in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Supervising physician (MD) or active collaborative agreement, as required by applicable regulations.
• Current malpractice insurance meeting or exceeding required coverage levels.
• Completion of HIPAA and SC PHA training (initial and refresher courses available through JKO).
• Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
