Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential used and salvage vehicle sources through online platforms, auctions, dealer networks, and private sellers.
• Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and conditions to secure optimal deals aligned with company standards and budget targets.
• Coordinate the logistics of vehicle transportation from acquisition points to the dealership or storage facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions using CRUSH Yard Management software for procurement tracking and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to forecast demand and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to verify condition, mileage, title status, and compliance with quality standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and pricing negotiations.
• Assist with dispatching company owned flatbeds to pick up purchased vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement within the automotive industry or related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and pricing data to make informed buying decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience in the auto salvage or towing industries, experience with e-commerce platforms, contracts management, and familiarity with procurement software tools related to supply chain management.
