Job Overview

We are seeking a Used Restaurant Equipment Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality used restaurant equipment, negotiating favorable contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Your expertise will ensure the efficient acquisition of products that align with our quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering value-driven restaurant solutions through strategic sourcing and procurement management.

Individuals who have worked for restaurant equipment manufacturers will be highly considered.

Duties

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of used restaurant equipment through sourcing strategies aligned with category management principles.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies for purpose of reselling.
  • Monitoring of used equipment inventory and verifying availability of items
  • Network with food chains.
  • Support Used Equipment Operations planning by forecasting demand and coordinating procurement schedules accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement management within the restaurant equipment or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant equipment industry is required.
  • Electrical engineering knowledge and understanding of refrigeration principles is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills for negotiating and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Solid PC skills, proficiency and working knowledge of standard office software, such as Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel) with an aptitude to learn in-house database system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
