Utilities Manager

The Utilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the utilities operations and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of utilities (electrical, boiler, water treatment, compressed air systems, refrigeration). Knowledge and expertise will be what is needed for this position to lead and educate those you work with. You will lead and direct others to ensure proper completion of the task at hand. This position will be hands on and require your participation in performing tasks.

Utilities Manager Responsibilities & Duties

• Direct and assist in maintenance/installation of boiler and chiller systems.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of utility operations to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations
• Inspect and evaluate utility facilities, equipment and machinery to determine necessary repairs or upgrades
• Coordinate with maintenance, when necessary, on repair work, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of utility operations, including maintenance and repair records
• Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any issues and to ensure timely and effective resolution of problems
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of utility facilities
• Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance

Required:

· Boiler experience/Stationary Engineer

· Chiller experience

· HVAC/Refrigeration license.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
