Key Responsibilities

1. HVAC System Operations

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain all HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, and fresh air handling units.
  • Ensure cleanroom temperature, humidity, and differential pressure remain within cGMP-specified limits.
  • Support HEPA filter integrity testing, duct inspection, and HVAC system calibration.
  • Ensure continuous functioning of HVAC systems to support production and quality requirements.

2. Water Plant Operations

  • Operate and manage RO plant, Soft Water System, Purified Water (PW), and Water for Injection (WFI) systems.
  • Monitor daily water system parameters such as conductivity, TOC, pH, temperature, pressure, and microbial limits.
  • Perform water system sanitization, chemical cleaning, and regeneration as per SOPs.
  • Assist in validation and qualification activities of water systems to meet regulatory guidelines.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Support preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC and water systems to avoid downtime.
  • Identify system issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for repeated issues and suggest corrective actions.

4. Documentation, Compliance & Awareness

  • Maintain accurate logbooks, checklists, and utility records according to SOPs, GEP (Good Engineering Practices), and cGMP requirements.
  • Fill and manage daily GMP documentation of engineering logbooks.
  • Ensure all utility operations follow SOPs and support internal, external, and regulatory audits (QA, WHO, FDA).
  • Demonstrate awareness of cGMP, GEP, and company SOPs in daily operations.

5. Safety & Energy Efficiency

  • Follow all safety protocols related to mechanical, electrical, and chemical operations.
  • Monitor utility performance and support initiatives to reduce energy consumption.
  • Report any abnormal readings, leakages, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical utilities (HVAC & Water Systems preferred).

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom controls, and environmental parameters.
  • Practical understanding of RO, PW, and WFI water systems.
  • Awareness of cGMP, GEP, SOPs, and GMP documentation practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
