Consequently, we are looking for an individual who would like to join our team in Ithaca, Michigan as a Utility (Midnight Shift) who takes pride in their work, is results-driven and has a team-first attitude. Must be willing to work midnights 10 pm to 6 am.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate multiple machines/operations as required including welding, grinding, torch cut, shipping, assembly areas
• Material handle using lift truck and overhead crane
• Operate hand grinder/tools
• Maintain quality requirements, produce quality products and stay on schedule
• Read micrometers, calipers, depth mics, tape measure, scale and interpret blueprints
• Work safely and assist in other departments as assigned
• Maintaining clean, organized work area
• Helping in other areas as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous grinding, welding, torch cut, shipping, assembly, lift truck and overhead crane experience an asset
• Basic mechanical skills: Blueprint reading required, familiarity with reading micrometers and other measuring tools
• Good organization skills required
• Attention to detail/quality and effective problem solving skills required
• Team oriented with ability to take initiative
• Basic computer skills required
