1. Role Overview
The Executive / Senior Executive – Utility will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of all utility systems to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient plant operations. The role involves strict adherence to SOPs, proper documentation, routine inspections, and active support during audits.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Operate, monitor, and maintain utility equipment such as air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, air dryers, MTC, HRTC, DG sets, pumps, RO plants, water distribution systems, and storage tanks. • Maintain daily utility logs, maintenance records, downtime reports, and checklist documentation. • Conduct regular inspections and support ISO, Safety, and Quality audits. • Maintain stock of essential spare parts, consumables, and tools. • Ensure proper functioning of utility systems supporting IBM (Injection Blow Moulding) machines used in pharmaceutical HDPE bottle manufacturing. • Prepare utility schedules, reports, and technical documentation. • Use basic computer applications for documentation and reporting. • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support daily operations.
3. Core Functional Competencies
• Strong understanding of air, water, vacuum, and hydraulic systems. • Knowledge of utility requirements for IBM machines. • Understanding and implementation of SOPs and safety practices. • Ability to troubleshoot utility equipment and identify improvement areas. • Technical expertise in utility operations and maintenance.
