UX Designer – Job Description
Role Overview
A UX (User Experience) Designer is responsible for creating meaningful, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences across digital products. They combine research, design, and usability testing to ensure that products meet both user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design intuitive interfaces with a focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align on design goals.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and interaction patterns.
- Use tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to create mockups and prototypes.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
- Stay updated with UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.).
- Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing methods.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with developers.
- Experience with design systems and agile development processes.
