With a distinguished history of nearly 50 years, we specialise in high-quality commercial, retail, healthcare, and educational construction projects. We are looking for a creative individual to help drive our digital presence and improve the user experience across our internal and client-facing platforms, including our cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems. This is a Full-Time position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact within a well-established and respected organisation.
Responsibilities
As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing digital experiences. Your key duties will include:
• Collaborating with project managers, developers, and key stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions.
• Designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups for a wide range of digital products.
• Developing high-fidelity prototypes and UI specifications that clearly illustrate how our applications function and look.
• Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback to identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
• Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Contributing to the design of interfaces for our website, project management software, and specialised construction technology tools.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio of design work and a passion for user-centred design. Key qualifications include:
• Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both user experience and user interface design.
• Proficiency in design and wireframing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• A solid understanding of user-centred design principles and testing methodologies.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and colour.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• Experience designing for complex systems or B2B applications is highly desirable.
• An interest or background in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry would be a significant advantage.
What We Offer
• A competitive annual salary of $60,000 – $90,000 USD.
• The opportunity to be a part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the Irish construction industry.
• A collaborative and supportive work environment where innovation is encouraged.
• Opportunities for professional growth and development.
• The chance to work on diverse and impactful projects that shape our company's digital future.
