Overview:
A Valve Technician is responsible for various valve maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates MUST be willing and able to work a 24/7 callout schedule.

Positions will consist of offshore and land locations.

Candidates MUST be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check.

Assemble new safety relief valves to National Board V & UV Code.

Repair used safety relief valves to National Board VR Code.

Be responsible for machining nozzles, discs, and associated parts to OEM specifications.

Perform measurements with dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.

Apply advanced math skills to verify critical dimensions.

Perform machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs.

Perform valve write-ups, including Nameplate data, Guide and nozzle ring settings, and spring number.

Be responsible for pressure and leak testing valves to National Board and ASME standards.

Be responsible for valve testing with EVT.

Provide account manager support by phone and email.

Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment.

Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.

Perform other duties as required.

Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation.

May be required to travel to worksite via marine or helicopter transport.

May be required to reside at worksite on a predetermined work schedule.

Take proper care of test instruments and tools in their care.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of offshore/in-land valve experience.
-
Valid TWIC card.
-
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
