Van Driver / Labourer

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Part Time Van Driver / Labourer to join our team. This role involves collecting tyres (car/truck) throughout Hamsphire and Dorset. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, be comfortable with manual handling, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Duties

• Safely operate a van for local collections, adhering to all road safety regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading tyres, including heavy lifting where necessary.
• Ensure timely collections from clients and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within tyres is preferred
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (No more than 6 points due to insurance and no DR or IN offences)
• Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and manual handling procedures is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. This role requires a dedicated individual who is organised, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and service delivery.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
