Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Van Salesman to manage daily van sales operations, ensure maximum product distribution, achieve sales targets, and maintain strong relationships with retail customers. The ideal candidate will have solid FMCG market knowledge and proven experience in direct van sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell FMCG products directly to groceries, supermarkets, cafeterias, and small retailers
- Follow assigned routes and visit customers daily as per the journey plan
- Achieve daily, and monthly sales targets
- Ensure proper product display, availability, and visibility at customer outlets
- Collect cash / credit payments and ensure timely submission to accounts
- Manage van stock: loading, unloading, and accurate inventory control
- Generate orders and update sales through manual invoices or handheld systems
- Identify new customers and business opportunities
- Ensure van cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance
- Follow company policies, pricing, and promotion guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of FMCG van sales experience (UAE/GCC preferred)
- Valid UAE Manual Driving License (Light Vehicle)
- Strong knowledge of local FMCG markets and retail outlets
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and under sales pressure
- Basic knowledge of billing, stock control, and collections
- Physically fit for loading/unloading goods
