VAT Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage VAT filings, Corporate Tax (CT) compliance, bookkeeping, and general accounting services for our clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of taxation rules and accounting standards with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

VAT (Value Added Tax)

• Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns accurately and within deadlines.
• Review client financials for VAT compliance.
• Maintain VAT reconciliation schedules and documentation.
• Provide advisory support on VAT-related queries.

Corporate Tax (CT)

• Prepare and file Corporate Tax returns for clients.
• Maintain updated tax computation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with CT regulations and filing timelines.
• Assist with CT audits, notices, and client queries.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks (AP, AR, GL).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger reviews.
• Support external audit processes.

Client Management

• Coordinate with clients to collect financial information.
• Provide updates on tax deadlines and compliance status.
• Maintain strong client relationships and service quality.

Qualifications

• MBA (Preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA) is an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, VAT, and tax compliance (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of VAT laws and Corporate Tax frameworks.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, Zoho Books).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in an accounting or consulting firm.
• Ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
