VB6 Developer (Mid-Senior / Executive Level)

We are seeking a VB6 Developer to join our development team with strong expertise in the following areas:

• Visual Basic 6 (VB6)
• SQL Server 2008 (or above)
• Crystal Reports 9

This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing applications while also contributing to system improvements and performance optimization

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance legacy applications using VB6, SQL Server and Seagate Crystal Reports.
• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, views and large data structures
• Troubleshoot application bugs and resolve database performance issues
• Collaborate with QA, analysts, and developers to deliver quality solutions.
• Optional : Assist in transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms (VB.NET/C#)

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Visual Basic 6 (VB6) development.
• Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server including complex queries joins views, triggers and stored procedures
• Proven experience with ADO, ADODC
• Design robust reports in Seagate Crystal Reports 9

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
