vBDC Outbound Agent

Position Title: BDC Outbound Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Work Requirement: Minimum of 40 hours per week
Position Overview
The Service Business Development Center (BDC) Outbound Specialist serves as a liaison
between automotive dealerships and their customers. This role focuses on developing and
managing customer relationships to maximize appointment scheduling through outbound phone
calls and external platforms such as Kelley Blue Book, Autotrader, email, and other
communication channels.
The BDC Outbound Specialist may assist in multiple operational areas as needed to ensure
exceptional customer service and support dealership objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties represent the essential functions of the role. Additional responsibilities may
be assigned as needed:
Initiate outbound calls to previous customers and new prospects
Answer inbound calls from customers and prospects
Schedule appointments using dealership scheduling tools and communicate updates via
Slack when required
Build rapport and engage customers through phone communication and third-party
platforms (e.g., Kelley Blue Book, Autotrader, Craigslist)
Address customer hesitation or concerns with patience and professionalism
Resolve inquiries promptly while providing accurate and helpful information
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system with a high level of accuracy
and attention to detail
Required SkillsCompetencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfort and confidence working extensively on the phone
Familiarity with external platforms such as Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader
Basic computer proficiency and professional phone etiquette
Friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements
Computer with at least:
1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent
Minimum of 2 GB RAM
Google Chrome installed
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1+ year of Sales, Call Center, or BDC experience
At least 2 years of customer/client service experience
Minimum 1 year of experience with or knowledge of automotive dealerships
Physical Requirements
Prolonged sitting and computer use
Close-up visual work
Extensive speaking on the phone
