VDC Detailer

$30-$42 per hour– VDC Detailer for our VDC Division in Seattle.

We’re hiring a VDC Detailer who has foundational Revit experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in building a career!

What You'll Do?

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain electrical BIM models in Revit using construction documents and submittal data

· Produce accurate shop drawings, layouts, and installation details to support field execution

· Create assemblies and support prefabrication efforts through model-based detailing

· Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure model accuracy, completeness, and constructability

· Coordinate with project teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts

· Follow VECA BIM standards, file management protocols, and documentation practices

· Assist with model coordination using Navisworks and other VDC tools

Day to Day Work:

· Revit detailing of electrical gear/lighting/components based on submittal data

· Generate and revise shop drawings based on project needs and team feedback

· Participate in coordination meetings with VDC team members

· Review models for clashes, accuracy, and installation feasibility

· Collaborate with field teams to incorporate real-world constructability into models

· Manage model files, links, and versions in accordance with company standards

· Support multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities and fast-track schedules

· Occasionally visit job sites to support coordination and better understand field conditions

Desired Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of Revit.

· Exposure to Navisworks is a plus

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

· Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with office and field teams

· Interest in electrical systems, construction, or virtual design and construction (VDC)

· Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

· Coursework in CAD, BIM, or construction preferred
