Vehicle Processing Specialist

McConkey Auction Group (MAG) is the fastest growing wholesale auto auction in the northwest and we are looking for reliable, self-motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Vehicle Processing Specialists at our location in Auburn, WA (DAA Seattle). This opening works at our satellite location that is also in Auburn.

Our Vehicle Processing Specialists are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, properly checking vehicles in and out of the auction, the accurate and timely recording of vehicles, and moving vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the DAA Seattle campus. You will use a company provided cell phone to take pictures of vehicles as they arrive at the auction. You will also input basic information about the vehicle (vin number, make, model, color, mileage, etc.) using the cell phone for the purpose of creating the vehicle’s profile in our inventory system. Additionally, you will troubleshoot vehicle problems, jump batteries, and assist with Sale Day operations. Work is performed mostly outside, in all weather conditions. This position comes with plenty of growth opportunities to learn and take on additional responsibilities within the department.

Successful candidates will possess basic PC skills, the ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem-solving skills. Requirements for this position include excellent attendance, the ability to read and understand a lot map (we teach this), good customer service skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Candidates must also be able to operate automatic as well as manual transmission vehicles, be comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions, possess the ability to get in and out of vehicles with relative ease and walk and/or stand for long periods of time. A valid driver’s license is required, and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.
