Vending Route Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Vending Driver to manage local vending routes. This role involves operating various commercial vehicles to deliver and restock vending machines across designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to ensure timely and efficient service. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing essential services to our clients while maintaining safety and professionalism on the road.

Our routes are local routes - we stay within the Baltimore Metropolitan area. This job is Monday through Friday with no nights and no weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks to service vending routes
• Deliver products to various customer locations, ensuring accurate stocking and placement of products
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting to maintain optimal vehicle/vending machine performance
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle at all times

Qualifications

• Have worked in a vending or route sales merchandising job
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & experience with commercial driving preferred
• Proven experience in delivery route driving with a commercial vehicle
• Mechanical knowledge related to vending machine maintenance troubleshooting, and basic repairs
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
• Smoking on premises or job locations is not allowed
• Have a professional clean appearance
• No criminal record
• In good physical health -lifting of the vending products from truck to hand cart
