Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction projects.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate quality and cost-effectiveness of materials and services.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
- Maintain records of all procurement activities for transparency and auditing purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry trends.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
