Vendor Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new vendors and improve existing ones for machining, fabrication, forging, and casting.

Plan, monitor, and supervise all vendorized jobs in ERP to ensure timely and quality completion.

Review drawings, prepare cost sheets, evaluate quotations, and support contract finalization.

Resolve job delays, handle QA/QC observations (QDARs), and ensure corrective and preventive actions.

Guide and support VC engineers in outsourcing, costing, vendor follow-up, and job execution.

Maintain strong coordination with internal departments (CPPC, Commercial, Works) for estimations and price settlements.

Education: DAE / B. Tech (Mechanical) or other related degree

Experience: 4 – 7 Years

Skills & Competencies: Vendor development & supply chain knowledge, Mechanical manufacturing understanding, ERP proficiency & costing skills, Strong coordination.
