Key Responsibilities1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation
- Research and identify potential suppliers for critical components and sub-assemblies used in air dryers.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments, including technical competence, quality systems, capacity, and financial stability.
- Perform supplier visits, audits, and evaluations to confirm adherence to standards.
2. Vendor Outsourcing & Development
- Develop and qualify new vendors based on product quality, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.
- Lead vendor trials, sample evaluation, and product validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve product designs, reduce manufacturing costs, and support value engineering initiatives.
3. Supplier Performance Management
- Monitor key supplier performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, delivery, response time, and cost.
- Implement corrective actions and improvement plans with vendors to address quality or delivery issues.
- Maintain a vendor scorecard and feed performance data into sourcing decisions.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain RFQs, vendor contracts, NDAs, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure all vendor documentation follows company quality standards and procedures (ISO/TS compliance, if applicable).
- Maintain accurate supplier records in ERP/PDM systems.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Engineering to clarify product specifications, tolerance levels, and manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve non-conformances and ensure adherence to inspection protocols.
- Support planning team for timely procurement of parts to meet production schedules.
QualificationsEducational
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA (Procurement / Supply Chain) is a plus.
Experience
- 3–7 years in vendor development, sourcing, or procurement (preferably in manufacturing).
- Experience in air dryer, HVAC, industrial machinery, or related precision manufacturing industry is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, TS 16949, Six Sigma concepts).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate supplier performance reports.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to drive supplier improvements.

Work Environment
- Office & Manufacturing Plant visits required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
