Job Description
We are seeking a
Vendor Manager
for a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements, and supporting the company’s strategic procurement activities. The role involves regular interaction with both local and international vendors, as well as close coordination with internal engineering, project, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
, conducting market research and technical assessments to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors
to ensure effective communication and long-term collaboration.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements
with vendors and subcontractors, securing favorable conditions for the company.

Monitor vendor performance
, evaluating KPIs, SLAs, and reports to ensure full compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Manage contracts
, ensuring adherence to legal, technical, commercial, and financial requirements.

Resolve vendor issues
related to delays, quality concerns, or other contractual matters by implementing timely corrective actions.

Identify risks
associated with vendor relationships and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Address potential supply chain disruptions
and provide solutions to ensure business continuity and minimize operational impact.

Support project teams in strategic procurement activities and cost-optimization initiatives.

Contribute to the development and implementation of vendor management policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and Saudi regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Solid understanding of international procurement processes and relevant regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.

Strong command of English and Arabic.
