Job Title: Vendor Commercials & Contracts Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Manager to join our fast-growing eCommerce logistics team. You will coordinate contracting, pricing, and SOP management for customs clearance and last-mile delivery partners worldwide. The role is critical in ensuring every vendor we onboard is commercially competitive, contractually compliant, and operationally aligned with RSA standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Contracting & Compliance

  • Coordinate vendor contracting after commercial terms are agreed.
  • Validate contracts and rate cards; review them against RSA’s 20-point checklist.
  • Manage redlines with vendors, track deviations, and prepare agreements for signature.
  • Maintain a central repository of all executed contracts and key terms.

2. Pricing & Rate Analysis

  • Analyse vendor rate cards, benchmark against RSA models, and ensure pricing integrity.
  • Restructure rate cards into RSA-standard templates for full transparency.
  • Collaborate with Finance for rate validation and maintain a central pricing database.
  • Conduct market comparisons to ensure competitiveness and healthy margins.

3. SOP Management

  • Review vendor SOPs and adapt them into client-ready packs.
  • Maintain a structured and up-to-date SOP repository for all vendors and countries.

4. Vendor Onboarding & Coordination

  • Drive the end-to-end onboarding process for global vendors.
  • Coordinate with Tech, Finance, and Legal to ensure readiness across systems, invoicing, and compliance.
  • Track progress, escalate delays, and ensure vendors are fully operational before launch.

5. Vendor Research & Engagement

  • Conduct vendor research and comparisons to support selection decisions.
  • Perform initial outreach and qualification before escalation to senior management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Contract turnaround time: ≤ 10 business days
  • Rate validation cycle: ≤ 3 business days
  • Pricing accuracy: ≤ 1% variance between contracted rates and first invoices
  • Checklist compliance: 100% reviewed, ≥ 85% ideal/approved alternate clauses
  • SOP readiness: client-ready within 5 business days of contract signature
  • Repository hygiene: 100% of contracts logged and searchable within 5 days

Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • Mandatory experience in vendor management for cross-border eCommerce or logistics .
  • Prior work with customs clearance and last-mile delivery vendors is essential.
  • Background in postal, courier, or express delivery preferred.

Skills:

  • Advanced commercial and financial analysis (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Strong contract literacy and documentation management.
  • Proficient in vendor research, qualification, and SOP writing.
  • Excellent coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills.
