Venture Capital Managing Partner

The Venture Capital Managing Partner leads the firm’s overall strategy, investment direction, and operational performance. This role oversees fundraising, portfolio oversight, team leadership, and key investor relationships while ensuring the firm meets its financial and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the firm’s long-term investment strategy.
• Lead fundraising efforts and maintain strong relationships with limited partners and other investors.
• Oversee investment portfolio performance and support value creation across portfolio companies.
• Make final or high-level investment decisions and guide due diligence where needed.
• Build, mentor, and manage the internal investment team.
• Represent the firm externally through networking, public speaking, and industry engagement.
• Ensure effective firm governance, compliance, and operational management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, startup leadership, or related investment roles.
• Strong track record in fundraising, deal sourcing, and portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of startup growth, market analysis, and investment evaluation.
• Proven leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Pay: BD20.000 - BD37.000 per hour
